Shaman PVP

Shamans are the most underrated class in PVP. The best players in the game can turn the most underrated class to one of the best class in arena. Shaman PVP can be very deadly when used properly. The spec is very important in order to compete in arenas.

Some players will argue that dropping totems are completely useless because they will be destroyed in a second. Enemy players have macros that will automatically destroy totems as soon as they come out. Is that fair? Most likely not, but Blizzard is never fair in game designs. Most Shaman PVPers play as healers, but the other classes can compete just as well.

The shocks skills are most important to Shamans, and when used at right times, shocks can lock players from casting spells. If you are playing restoration spec, you can still do a decent amount of DPS to help your partner out for the kill. You'll be surprised how fast a player goes down when you help go for the kill once opponent is at 50% or below health. Did I also mention Bloodlust ability? That makes the kill so fast that the opponent wouldn't even know what hit him.

You can still make a great healer even when you are playing as Elemental or Enhancement. Do not pay attention to people who cry about how bad Shaman is in PVP because they just do not know how to play the game. Shamans are one of the most deadliest class in arena if played properly. Shaman PVP shows real skills because other classes such as Death Knight do not need much skills to get high arena ratings.
